Forza 2 - what do you think?

Hi! Following on from my last 2 questions on GTA4 and Project Gotham, i've been reading up and Forza 2 is meant to be really good on graphics. My boyfriend's birthday is coming up and not sure which game/s to get him - what are your thoughts on Forza 2? Can you play each other online? It says something about a steering wheel - can you just play with your xbox control? Can you buy stuff for your car? Thanks.
