Who can help educate the kids in the Third World?

I am a public school teacher and at the same time a school head and I am very much concern of the education of the children who are poor. Our students stayed on makeshifts and the dirt as their floors. The is no books and no learning materials except for the enguinity and creativity of teachers. I would like to know if there are organizations that could help the poor children get formal education.
