Chances of conceiving after tubal reversal?

I am almost 1yr post tubal reversal,..we tried with no success only to find out after a hystrosalpingogram that one of my tubes is prettymuch done and the other is blocked (to the point where it actually "ballooned" at the overy) but my doctor recommended trying for another 3 months before my next follow up,..we have kind of set our minds to invetro but I cant help being anxious after "trying" still,..anyone have any advice or happy endings?? Ive heard that after a hsg chances are greatly improved...any chance a tiny pin hole may have opened at the overy????
