Should I give up trying to be an engineer?

I've been looking for me an engineering job for the past five years since I graduated with my Master's in Aerospace Engineering. Since then, I have not be able to find work in my field. I have spent more time teaching school than I have doing anything engineering related, and it's very frustrating. After five years of looking, I'm seriously considering saying the 'hell with this s***' and just give up. It's been five years of fruitless searching. In fact, the more time pes, the less likely they'll hire me in some sort of self-fulfilling prophecy of not hiring someone because of their lack of experience when worsens over time when they reject my resume off hand just because I haven't work as an aerospace engineer in the years since I left college. My question is, have I pes that point of no return and all I'm doing is wasting my time and I should just accept that I never be an engineer?

How to stock my new 100 gallon aquarium?

Its a 6" tank. I've really been debating on how to stock it. I like african cichlid's, but I don't want to use this large of a tank on them. I know its not huge but its the biggest one I could afford. I was thinking about oscars, but I like to keep my aquarium organized. I am chewing too loud?

People tell me, when I eat I chew really loudly. I chew with my mouth closed, with my molars. I have a SLIGHT under bite, if that effects anything. The only way I can chew quietly is by either chewing so slowly, I look depressed, or by sucking on the food until it's soggy...which can also make look depressed or sad, eating so slowly. What can I do? I chew the same loudness with my mouth closed as I do open.

When I use my cell (AT&T) to call my land line (Comcast), my cell has recently started showing up as "INLAND EMPIRE" on my land line Caller ID. Cell registers properly (my name) on all other phones that I have tried. AT&T, after running INOC test, says all is fine (NOT!) and problem has to be Comcast. Comcast sees no problem (Philippine tech support) from their end and says problem has to be AT&T. Any suggestions as to who is responsible and how to fix?

I used to work for a bk attorney, we used to set up two payments before the creditors meeting and yes, some do want to get paid in full as you only have one meeting and the reason being is that the fees have to be paid upfront to the courts, so the attorney is not going to pay these for you out of their own pockets..they can't bill the courts. How they do it is to get paid then they get you a case #, which then stops all the creditors from calling you. That could be the reason progressives, democrats, and liberals fail to understand the issues and economics of a tax cut. We can only hope that some of the new conservatives running for office with backgrounds in business get elected this Fall and bring that ability and knowledge with them to D.C. Hopefully, still they get the chance to educate those there in D.C. that seem to have forgotten what it is they are supposed to be doing in D.C. (serve the people of the US). The best service they can give at this time is a balanced budget, lower taxes, and a leaner federal government.

sounds like the deal is for items that are stolen. Seller sounds like they want to get the items sold quick. Amp looks pretty old and warn.. Sub pics are not great but who knows if there is anything wrong with it. You would also need to buy wires for everything if you don't already have them along with a box, since you can't play the sub without a box. Sub or amp may be blown also so its risky.. Probably better to save up and buy better products that you know will work and that come with a warrenty through the companie.

I learned in my safe from harm training that by having that uncomfortable feeling when he does that and by telling him to either stop or explaining to him you don't like it when he does it but he continues is a form of ual harment. He obviously won't stop so you'd either have to take legal actions or spend little time with him. You could tell him your intentions or you could not. 1991 BMW 525I Window and door locks dont work (PLZ HELP) Read Below?

I Have a 1991 BMW 525I And for no reason at all the windows and locks quit working. Since they are electric locks I cant even use the key to get in the car. (I was able to get in the car though with the trusty coat hanger) Anyways above the ac/heatercontrols there is the computer or whatever it is that has the time MPG,AMPG,CODE, and so on there are about 10 ons on it, The orange light for the back ground comes up but nothing in the display section. I Know that unit pops out But if it was bad can it cause these problems? All the fuses are good and the car runs great but I cant unlock the door or roll the windows down, I have taken the radio out and glove box and checked all the wires that I can from the pasanger side I would like to check under the drivers side but I can open the door. Ekg reads no heart beat, blood is pitch black, anyone know what this is?

I went to the doctor, I was feeling strange so they did some bloodtests (which all came out perfect). I did notice though when they took my blood it was pitch black (I am not sure if this is normal or not for some people). I then returned again for a follow up, I was still feeling strange. They tested my blood pressure, which was high, so they suggested I have an ekg. I felt lethargic and dizzy when they took it, the ekg read 6 times no heartbeat, each sheet looked like a straight line, I then took a deep breath on the 7th reading and it showed one large upward spike that stretched out and covered about a 4th of the page and then another smaller spike upward toward the end of the page, the doctor looked at it and said "thats impossible". The nurse re-tested everything before they ran each ekg. I have though noticed recently if I accidently cut myself shaving it doesn't bleed but still heals. I am alive and fully conscious so I'm sure my heart must have been beating, just not hard or fast enough for the ekg to read it. The condition is a type of lethargy, with needle sensations that occur erratically all over the body, it also caueses a very strange feeling thats difficult to describe of an intensely deep sorrow that can feel euphoric, very clear visual hallucinations of people and things which look like demons (best to describe it), and very intense dreams. I have also had a scan of my brain previously that came out normal. I was wondering if anyone else may have had this same condition, or knows what it is?

I run a weekly 5k race on Saturday mornings (Milton Keynes PARKRUN), mainly for fun but also trying to improve on my PB. I peaked last year and have been going backward ever since. I managed 22min23sec at best but have slipped and can't get within a min of that time now. I run twice a week in addition to the 5k runs, usually for about 6-8 miles each. I have found rock at the beach for the first time?

For as long as I've been going to the beach, i don't think i have ever found rocks there. I go to Mustang Island, off of Corpus Christi at least once ervy summer. This time I went, I found TONS of little rocks tered with the bits of shells that you can find anywhere. Is there any reason for this? Cut hand at Wal-mart.?

I cut my hand at work four months ago. It is still very sore and aches all the time. The doctor said it will probably not get any better as I probably cut into the bank of nerves in my hand. It was a very deep cut. Wal-mart says they do not pay settlements for hand lacerations. Does this sound fair since I will have trouble working in this job (unloading trucks and stocking grocery shelves) and even if I did office work it would be a problem because it even hurts to type because of where I cut my hand. Be proud of your heritage! There will always be people who judge others, no matter what. Be proud of who you are. If it slips and you are a bit self conscious of it, just laugh and politely explain why your accent is the way it is, although I don't think you need to explain anything unless asked. Be yourself. Who cares what other people think. If you get judged because of an accent, those people are not worth your time anyways. I feel the same way you do about dance, and am really lucky that my parents support it because they know it is something I am really pionate about. I am really sorry that you are in that situation. The annoying part is that they are your parents and get to decide how you live your life. You have to talk to them and explain that even if you do not do dance, you have to do some kind of physical activity or you will not be living a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately you might have to compromise by saying you will cut down to only 1 lesson a week. Also, because you are taking honors and AP cles a B is really like an A. Sorry to tell you this but the only thing you can do is talk to your parents and show them how good for you dancing is and how much it means to you. :-( It is really only up to them, unless you find a way of transportation and pay for the cles, and even then they might not let you. I am sorry but you need them to understand, after a little while, dancing is not a hobby it is a lifelong lifestyle!

I also think it is because of self esteem. People who have never been taught to feel good about themselves, seek constant approval from those around them. I call it the "gold star" sytem, like they feel they deserve a gold star for everything they do :) It is very annoying to feel like you must dout upon someone for even the most basic of things. The best way to deal with it is not feed their monster. This doesn't mean to be mean or rude, just don't engage with them.

Some people are easily offended. Personally, this seems like a really stupid thing to get worked up over, but what can you do. The business world is diverse and I think a lot of the jokes about businesspeople being overly "pc" come up because culturally sensitive euphemisms tend to become ridiculous. I don't know about the flip-chart thing (how is that offensive anyway?) but if you want to drink the kool-aid, you can refer to the other items as a chalkboard or a dry-erase board.

You can do the mono or 2 channel amp yourself and the coaxial speakers, but the components are a little bit tougher if your car doesn't already have tweeters, if you want it to look good (otherwise you can just lay them or hang them somewhere. If you were to get anything installed professionally, get the 4 channel done. you have 2 options, running new speaker wire around the car to each speaker, or to run speaker wire up to the radio and connect the speaker wire to the car side of the wire harness (this takes less time). If you do it all yourself, get at least this thing called speedwire, its insulated and has all the speaker wires for a 4 channel amp and makes things also go quicker.

Depends on who you are going with. If its family take things with you that "take you back" to where you want to be. Cell phone, camera, iPod, laptop. And even if you just put on a happy face and play along you may unconsciously convince yourself you are having fun. So keep an open mind. Trips we take weather we want to or not are the memories and stories we will tell to our grand kids. My friend is herion addict and and aloholic?

Im in a really tough situation, and i'm not sure what to do. Four the past 5 years, my friend has been struggling with alcoholism, and on top of that she is a herion addict. She recently went to rehab and was released and was supposed to check into an outpatient treatment, but she just disappeared from here house last night and nobody has heard from her. I have spoken to her mom and the only was I can describe her is broken. Shes exhausted and she is blaming herself. I have a problem. I moved away for school and I live 500 miles away. Why is this happening?

In september, my hubby and I moved into a brand new home as renters. In March we finally bought the home. when we first moved in, we hung up a black clay crucifix I had gotten in Mexico. It was nailed in tight to the wall, and wouldn't budge at all. He left for the day with the kids and his brother, who was living with us at the time, and the dog was with me at the apartment we had near my internship and school (I had a 2.5 hr commute otherwise). When he got home, the cross was lying in the middle of the hall in two pieces and the nail was missing. So, he glued it back together and hung it back up the same way. They all left again the next day and when they came home it was lying it 4 pieces in the hall with the nail nowhere to be found. We picked up the pieces and put them in a baggie in the cabinet until we have the time to both sit down and glue it back together the right way. Then, in April, my stepdaughter asked for a cross for her room, so I went out and bought her one.
