Does an anaesthetic take away the pain if they need to cut you?

ONCE THEY PUT THAT ANESTHESIA IN YOU, YOU WILL BE PARALYZED FROM THE WAIST DOWN.. NO FEELING WHATSOEVER. DNT WORRY
